Samsung SGH-i550 announced officially

There is nothing quite like an official announcement to disperse all rumors, and the Samsung SGH-i550 is beneficiary of such an announcement. We now know that the i550 will come with integrated GPS, a 3.2 megapixel autofocus camera, HSDPA connectivity, and a 3.5mm audio jack that pits it against the Nokia N95, although it will surely lose out in the digital camera segment. This smartphone is powered by the S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 1 (Symbian OS 9.2) that comes with the second version of the S60 browser, boasting Flash Lite 2.0 support and a variety of UI refinements. The integrated GPS function will be a key feature, although any accompanying software has yet to be confirmed. Other features include a 2.6″ QVGA display, an FM radio, and a microSDHC memory card slot. The Samsung SGH-i550 will be released this November and has a speculated price tag of €400 before taxes and subsidies.
