Samsung G800 packs in 5 megapixels

Looks like the leap from 3.2 megapixels in camera phones has started to happen, with more and more high-end handsets features a 5 megapixel count. The Samsung SGH-G800 is no different, packing in such a camera and will probably be officially announced sometime this year in Europe. This slider handset features a keypad in a flat metallic design, and features HSDPA/EDGE/GPRS connectivity, a microSDHC memory card slot for expansion options, and Bluetooth support for handsfree conversations. As for the 5 megapixel camera, it also comes with auto focus capability and 3x optical zoom for crystal clear images in most situations. There is no further word on pricing, specifications, and availability.
