AT&T boosts upload speeds

AT&T is currently working on boosting their upload speeds from the current 120kbps to hit 500kbps or even 800kbps where possible. Don’t whoop with joy just yet – it seems that this upgrade will first come to data cards, and handsets to follow sometime next year if all works out well. Subscribers of Verizon and Sprint will definitely be laughing as they’ve been on this speedy bandwagon for quite a while already, but it is nice to see AT&T do their bit to keep their subscribers up to par with the rest of the competition.
