Portege G500 with fingerprint reader
The Toshiba Portege G500 certainly looks set to be a powerful handset by any means. Taking the slider form factor, the G500 features full wireless push email support, Internet browsing capability, WiFi and HSDPA connectivity, a 2.3″ QVGA display, and a purportedly excellent battery life. The highlight would be its fingerprint recognition software that lets you unlock the device, letting you be the only one to be able to use it. Between this and the 80GB PS3, which would you pick up? I would definitely settle for the latter as the games on it are shaping up rather nicely, while I don’t venture beyond making and receiving both voice calls and text messages on my handset. In any case, look out for the Toshiba Portege G500 early next month.
