The FCC has given its nod of approval to Motorola’s latest MOTORAZR2 clamshell cellphone that was just launched in Korea, retailing for approximately $542 (unlocked) a pop. The MOTORAZR2 is a unique handset, given its 2″ external touchscreen display that gives users access to over 10 functions despite being closed. Vibration has been thrown in whenever the user touches its menu buttons for an enhanced user experience. The 2.2″ internal display on the other hand has double the resolution as the original RAZR. Other features include Bluetooth connectivity, 3G, a 2 megapixel camera, and a microSD memory card slot. This 11.9mm thin cellphone will probably be available in the US through AT&T.
