Wii experience comes to phones

The videogame industry certainly saw some breaking changes with the unprecedented success of the Nintendo Wii, and NTT DoCoMo aims to introduce motion sensitive cellphones into the fray with a couple of handsets in the FOMA 904i line. The motion sensing routines will be supplied by GestureTek, enabling the handset to recognize a trio of gestures – shake, rock, and roll. I think the game would be pretty hard to play since you won’t be able to see what’s going on the screen and will have to rely on audio cues when you’re busy shaking the cellphone from left to right and up and down. How do you think the gaming experience will be like? Groundbreaking or a novelty?
