Nokia N76 gets designer treatment

Nokia has commissioned Finnish designer Bjorn Weckstrom to work on their recently released N76. This special handset will come with a sculpture that has been grafted onto its back, while owners have the choice of picking up a set of jewelry that can be attached onto the N76 later. The sculpture was inspired by natural forms created whenever the wind and sea broke up the ice along the Finnish sea shore, but all I can envision are jagged rocks. The sculpture will definitely make the N76 heavier and more bulky – something I though cellphone manufacturers were trying to cut down all this time. What you see on the right is the vanilla N76.
