Jamming with i-mate JAMA

Are you toying with the idea of trying out a smartphone? The i-mate JAMA Windows Mobile 5.0 PDA handset fits the bill perfectly (although I would have preferred to see Windows Mobile 6.0 instead), featuring a 2.4″ QVGA resolution touchscreen display, dual-band GSM/GPRS, Bluetooth connectivity, 64MB RAM, 128MB ROM, and a microSD memory card slot. A 300MHz Samsung processor runs the show, while a 2 megapixel camera lets you capture memorable moments on-the-fly. While pricing details are still unknown, the i-mate JAMA is tipped to be released this month in fast growing smartphone markets. The lack of WiFi and 3G connectivity are a couple of drawbacks that I can see, and using just the touchscreen for input will take some getting used to.
