AT&T and Samsung to unveil new phones

AT&T and Samsung have recently announced that the Samsung SGH-A717 and SGH-A727 will be available in the coming week, with the former being a clamshell handset while the latter takes after a candybar form factor. Both are 3G-capable cellphones and have access to AT&T Mobile Music, Cellular Video, MobiTV and MobiRadio services. Features include Bluetooth connectivity, a microSD memory card slot, and MP3 playback. The SGH-A717 has a better camera option at 2 megapixels while the SGH-A727 comes with only a 1.3 megapixel camera. The SGH-A717 and SGH-A727 will retail for $149.99 and $99.99 respectively inclusive of a 2-year contract.
