Sprint and Palm announce Treo 755p

Those who have been waiting for the Treo 755p can heave a sigh of relief as Sprint and Palm has just announced the availability of this handset. The 755p will come with all the features that many expect, including Documents to Go for native Word, Excel, PowerPoint editing, full PDF support, PocketTunes support, VersaMail with built-in Exchange push support, Google Maps, and Sprint TV. Unfortunately, there are only two colors to choose from – deep royal blue and burgundy in a rubberized finish that is no different from the Treo 750. Initial reports show that battery life is pretty disappointing, so you might want to wait until third party extended batteries are available.
