SIMPURE L2 from NTT DoCoMo

Designer Gwenael Nicolas and LG have worked together to develop the 3G FOMA SIMPURE L2 cellphone for NTT DoCoMo. Recently released, this minimalist 3G cellphone offers DoCoMo’s WorldWing roaming service as well as compatibility with W-CDMA, GSM and GPRS networks. The SIMPURE L2 is a slider handset and will see action in stores this July, although pricing details are still unknown. Do you prefer a minimalist design such as this that comes with all the bells and whistles of 3G functionality, or is something flashy more suited to your taste?
