BlackBerry Pearl to get an update?

Strange how rumors abound concerning recently released devices such as the Pearl receiving an update within such a short period of time. Nevertheless, this looks pretty valid, with the new Pearl (codenamed 8120) set to come with GPs navigation, WiFi connectivity, and a 2 megapixel camera. I wonder what happens to current owners of the Pearl should this rumor actually turn out to be true. Sources claim that the 8120 will be released sometime at the end of summer and will come in blue, gold, and titanium colors.
