Snap and Wafer from Alltel

Alltel has recently launched a slim candybar handset from Samsung known as the SCH-R510. In more informal terms, it is called the Wafer for obvious reasons. Not to say you can sink your teeth into this, but what you get is a whole lot of technology like EV-Do and stereo Bluetooth connectivity, a megapixel class camera, a memory card slot for expansion options, and a music player crammed into a body that measures a mere 0.33″ thin. The Samsung Snap on the other hand is a clamshell handset also known as the U340. The Wafer and Snap will retail for $70 and $10 with a two-year contract.
