Samsung patents dual hinge design

Samsung has recently received its grant for a patent where dual hinge designs on clamshell cellphones are concerned. This special design enables one half of the clamshell handset to rotate a full 360 degrees, where the wall will subsequently allow the lid to close on either at the front or back of the handset. Samsung hopes to expand on this idea by including multiple keypads and interfaces on different faces of the two halves, further complicating what is already a pretty convoluted device when it comes to ease of use.
