Nokia 8600 moves toward reality

Carphone has posted a picture of the upcoming Nokia 8600 on its “Coming Soon” page, claiming the cellphone is still so new it does not even have a name. This fashionable handset will be priced a wee bit cheaper than the Nokia 8800, but make no mistake about it, the 8600 will still be a premium handset by any standard. So far the only specifications we know about the 8600 would be its 2 megapixel camera, integrated MP3 functionality, and 1GB of internal memory, all running on a Series 40 operating system.
