HaptiTouch UI for mobile devices

The HaptiTouch UI aims to unite all mobile interfaces by utilizing a full touchscreen as well as some soft keys, using tactile and aural feedback to make applications and devices more engaging to use while reducing the margin of error. These force sensitive feedback capabilities ensure the user won’t get lost during navigation, and key application functions can be programmed to react differently depending on the amount or length of force applied. The only snag in this idea is getting cellphone and PDA manufacturers to bite since they’re traditionally extremely protective of their own operating system.
