AES1510 fingerprint sensor in W51H
AuthenTec’s AES1510 fingerprint sensor is set to be a standard feature in the new W51H cellphone from Hitachi. This handset will be made available to KDDI subscribers in Japan, making it the first biometric cellphone available to KDDI subscribers in Japan. At least you can be sure nobody other than you (or someone else in possession of your digits) will be able to access the contents of your phone. The W51H comes with a spiffy 2.9″ QVGA display, 30MB of internal memory, a microSD memory card slot, and a digital camera with video recording capability. You can pick up the W51H later this month for $150 with a contract.
