Samsung SPH-W2500 launched

Those of us living in Europe and North America often cast envious glances at Korea and Japan each time a new cellphone is released, as those handsets hardly make their way across to our respective continents. Thank the heavens the same principle does not apply with the Samsung SPH-W2500 that was recently released in Korea. This W-CDMA/HSDPA/GSM/3G handset is a multimedia powerhouse, featuring a 2 megapixel camera , a 3D menu system, a microSD card reader, an integrated MP3 player, and a VGA display. Everything sounds fine and dandy save for the VGA display – hopefully that is a typo from our news source. Best of all is, Samsung’s engineers managed to cram all of that into a 13.8mm thin cellphone.
