Red Pearl in the works

RIM will aim to drag its net across a wider range of customers by releasing a red version of the BlackBerry Pearl sometime in the new future. Other than a new coat of paint, everything else is the same as with the black version. It remains to be seen whether the Red Pearl will come with a premium price tag attached to it though. Production has already begun, so all you have got to do on your side now is start saving up. Take note that the red version of the BlackBerry Pearl is probably not part of Bono’s RED project which aims to help those living with AIDS in Africa.
