Helio turns up the Heat

Those looking for an EV-DO 3G cellphone now have another choice in the form of the Helio Heat. Manufactured by Samsung, the Heat features a thin slider-style that is reminiscent of Samsung’s offerings in the Ultra family. The Heat shares many features as the Drift, but it is slightly cheaper. Features include stereo Bluetooth support, a 1.3 megapixel camera, 136MB of internal memory, a 2″ QVGA display, MP3 and video playback, and electrostatic touch sensors on the phone’s face for easy navigation. Unfortunately, there is no external memory card slot so you’ll have to use the internal memory wisely. You can pick up the Heat today for $150.
