Gucci could enter designer phone fray

The LG Prada definitely brought more attention to fashion house Prada, and it is pretty normal to have its rivals turning green in the eyes. Word on the street is this envy has caused Gucci to jump onto the cellphone bandwagon. There is no word on who Gucci will work with to produce yet another designer handset, and the picture on the right is pretty vague when it comes to hardware design (is it a clamshell or slider? Does it come with a touchscreen?). We, the consumers, will just go about our lives normally and do the usual – play the waiting game. Would you pick up a designer phone just for the status symbol?
