French armada arrives on U.S. shores

Alcatel has finally decided to bring its array of Europe-only OT phones across the pond as evidenced by its presence at CTIA. More than 15 handsets will make its way into the U.S. market, where the most interesting handset of all would be the Elle GlamPhone which targets the female segment of the population. Features of the GlamPhone include a 1.3 megapixel camera and a Click Wheel clone for its directional pad. Pricing details for all the handsets are still unknown, and the same goes for the release dates as well as carriers. However, it is widely expected that the C- and E-series of handsets will be made available via virtual networks later this year.
