Toshiba unveils Portege G900 at 3GSM

Those at the 3GSM World Congress were treated by Toshiba to view the new Portege G900 smartphone that runs the latest Windows Mobile 6.0 operating system. This stylish handset comes with a sliding QWERTY keyboard that remains hidden when not in use. It is rare to see such a smartphone amidst the many HTC and i-Mate models. This tri-band UMTS/HSDPA smartphone comes with Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity, a 3″ touchscreen WVGA (480 x 800 pixels) display, a 2 megapixel camera and a VGA camera for video calls, and a miniSD memory card slot. There is no word on when the Portege G900 will be released.
