Toshiba G500 business class smartphone

The G500 smartphone from Toshiba is the smaller sibling of the G900 Portege, but it will not come with Crossbow – relying on Windows Mobile 5.0 instead. This 3G smartphone was designed to cater for business users, as the hip and trendy will probably shun its straight lines and black figure. Featuring tri-band GSM, HSDPA, Bluetooth, and WiFi connectivity, the G500 is a truly connected device. Multimedia features include a 2 megapixel camera that works great for taking candid shots, with a brilliant 2.3″ QVGA resolution TFT display that makes reading text and viewing photos easy on the eye. To keep your data secure, the G500 even boasts fingerprint recognition. Other specifications include 64MB of internal memory and a miniSD memory card slot. There is no word on pricing or availability as at press time.
