Sony Ericsson readies entry-level handsets

Sony Ericsson seems to be on a roll here with the announcement of the W880/W888 and W610, followed by the release of a couple of entry-level handsets to complement the mentioned multimedia-heavy cellphones. The J110 and K200 are both candybar phones which are dual-band GSMs 850/1900 with 900/1800 versions meant for those living in Europe. The specifications are rather dismal, with the K200 featuring 2MB of memory and a 128 x 128 pixels display, while the J110’s display is even more miniscule at 96 x 64 pixels. You can expect to pick up either model in Europe from Q2 2007 onwards at a yet undisclosed price.
