DoCoMo and McDonalds team up

NTT DoCoMo and McDonald’s have teamed up in Japan to entice both sets of customers to enjoy their respective products simultaneously. Both companies will be forming a ¥300 million joint venture company that enables one to use DoCoMo’s IC-card based e-cash cellphones in any McDonald’s outlets. This means you will be able to carry discount coupons, e-mail offers, and cellphone games on the cards itself. I guess the day is coming where our cellphones being a digital wallet is a common sight.
