The Sony Ericsson K790a doesn’t take a drastically different approach from the rest of the other Sony Ericsson candybar handsets that we have all come to know and love. What makes this Cybershot phone stand out from the rest is possibly the 3.2 megapixel autofocus camera with a xenon flash to reduce the red eye effect when taking portrait shots. There is also a built-in image stabilizer function that helps amateurs take sharp photos under low light conditions, while the Memory Stick Micro slot goes a long way in increasing the 64MB internal memory. This triband GSM/EDGE (850/1800/1900) cellphone also features a mobile blogging utility for those who have the itch to blog no matter where they are. There is no word on pricing or availability as at press time.
