Samsung SGH-F500 supports DivX

Samsung claims that the SGH-F500 supports the DivX format, but I’m pretty sure there are other smartphones around that work with DivX as well prior to the F500’s release. That aside, the F500 is an extremely slim video capable handset with a brilliant 2.3″ 240 x 320 display. The keypad was ingeniously designed to allow the phone to offer the most optimal viewing angle. There is 400MB worth of internal memory for you to store all your videos, while the microSD card slot enables you to tote around an additional 2GB of content. What makes the F500 even better is HSDPA (3G) connectivity. There is no word on pricing or availability as at press time. More specifications are available after the jump.
