Motorola handsets get 3G upgrade

I sometimes wonder if these product leaks were done on purpose just to whip the public into what is hopefully a frenzy. Apparently, a Motorola financial analyst leaked a couple of 3G-enabled cellphones which are essentially updates of the KRZR K1 and RIZR Z3. The new 3G models will be known as the KRZR K3 and RIZR Z8, where the most telling evidence of such capability lies in the front-facing camera which is a signature of all 3G handsets. The KRZR K3 is tipped to maintain the same design along with the 2 megapixel camera, while the RIZR Z8 looks to have an expanded waistline. More details are expected to be unveiled just before the 3GSM conference in Spain begins.
