Unlock the D903i with your voice

Most cellphones in Japan come in a clamshell design, so having a slider handset in Japan is pretty surprising. Mitsubishi decided to take this unconventional design path with the D903i cellphone for NTT DoCoMo. This female-centric handset comes in a choice of 4 girlie colors, featuring a 2.8″ 240 x 400 pixel display, a 3.2 megapixel camera to capture the latest fashion trends in Tokyo, a pre-loaded media player that supports most major audio and video formats, a micro SD card slot for expansion options, and an integrated FM transmitter for you to enjoy your favorite songs while stuck in a traffic jam. The D903i also comes with a voice lock that will unlock the handset only when it registers the correct voice and vocal password. We’re not sure if ambient sound affect this feature though.
