Philips Xenium receives nod from FCC
The FCC has just approved the Philips Xenium cellphone, which means we will be seeing this entry-level handset hit the market soon. Don’t expect groundbreaking features from the Xenium, as it comes with a mere 65k color display, a 1.3 megpaixel camera, Bluetooth and infrared connectivity, as well as voice recording capability with enough internal memory to store up to 12 minutes’ worth of audio. Other standard programs include a calculator, a money converter for the well traveled, an organizer, and a world clock. There is no word on pricing and availability at this moment.
