Two months after the FCC’s approval of the Motorola i880, this hardy cellphone is now available from Sprint Nextel. This is the spiritual successor to the Motorola i870, boasting refinements that includes a reduction in thickness and weight. Despite iDEN devices carrying less features than standard CDMA and GSM handsets, the i880 actually goes a long way in narrowing the gap. Features include integrated stereo speakers, a 2 megapixel camera, and even a microSD memory card slot for expansion options. The i880 can also be connected to WiDEN for high speed data transfer. You can pick up one today for $299.99 with a 2 year agreement. More specifications are available after the jump.
