LG Chocolate gets 3G nod

Published

The plain vanilla LG Chocolate handset is a neat phone by all accounts, but it is a pity that there was no 3G functionality built inside. This scenario is set to change with the introduction of the LG KU800 slider handset. This new 3G-enabled cellphone will be offered by Vodafone at first, and supports GSM/GPRS/EDGE and UMTS. Features include a 2″ QVGA display, a 2 megapixel camera as well as a regular VGA camera for video calls, USB and Bluetooth connectivity. You get 60MB of built-in memory and a microSD card slot for memory expansion options. No idea when the LG KU800 will hit the stores nor how much your wallet will suffer in order to obtain one.
