i-Mate JAQ3 encroaches Treo 680 market

Smartphones seem to be all the rage these days, with consumers spoilt for choice. i-Mate has a brand new smartphone device that targets the Treo 680 market, offering a QWERTY keyboard, push e-mail (very important for those in business suits), and runs on Microsoft’s Windows Mobile 5.0 operating system. The only drawback we can forsee at this moment is the lack of 3G connectivity in the JAQ3 just like the Treo 680. There is no word on pricing, availability, or more detailed specifications, but it sure looks pretty cozy to hold. Pictures courtesy of Boy Genius.
