FIC Neo1973 coming next month
FIC has released the spanking new Neo1973 smartphone that runs on the highly customizable Linux platform, giving users with programming knowledge the privilege of developing their own applications on this open source platform. This oval-looking quad-band GSM/GPRS smartphone is the first device that uses the OpenMoki platform and comes with a list of specifications that are pretty standard for today’s smartphones. Unfortunately, it seems as though the Neo1973 smartphone will not come with wireless nor Bluetooth connectivity. It is expected to fetch around $350 when released to the general public sometime in the middle of next month.
