FCC stamps approval on Sanyo M1

Sanyo’s upcoming clamshell handset, the M1, will most probably be a high-end cellphone for Sprint after successfully obtaining approval from the FCC. Despite measuring just under an inch in thickness, the Sanyo M1 is widely tipped to feature EV-DO connectivity, Bluetooth with A2DP support, stereo speakers, an integrated MP3 player with dedicated external music controls, a 2 megapixel camera with flash, and 1GB of memory. Whether that memory is internal or courtesy of a memory card remains to be seen. We have no idea of when the M1 will be available, but the answer most would like to hear is “soon”. Check out some sneak shots of the Sanyo M1 here.
