Dopod unveils Excalibur-based device

Dopod has licensed HTC’s Excalibur and unveiled it as the C720W, ready to take on all and sundry in the Windows-based smartphone market. CNet Asia claims tha the C720W is the new king of the hill, knocking the Motorola Q out for the count while offering a stiff challenge to anyone who comes near it. Since the review was written with the T-Mobile Dash, you can’t expect the end result to be extremely accurate, but it should come quite close. Has anyone tried out the C720W/HTC Excalibur/T-Mobile Dash yet? What’s your take on it? One thing’s for sure, with all the different names slapped on the same device, it gets mighty confusing for the layman.
