No matter how you look at it, this black Sidekick III is way better looking than the limited edition, puke-colored Sidekick III from Lifted Research. Boy Genius claims that the jet-black smartphone device was not given a coat of paint but is instead a totally new variant which is yet to be released. There is no official word from Danger on whether this is a new model, a pre-production unit, or one of those special units handed out to celebrities in a marketing effort. If you like all things black, keep your fingers crossed that this rumor will end up as a reality, preferably before the holiday season is over.
