Sharp’s new WS003SH is a device that remains in no man’s land, it is way too large to be a decent PDA phone, while its size can be considered to be too small to act as an UMPC. Nevertheless, this did not stop Sharp from unveiling it at CEATEC 2006 recently. We know that the WS003SH will run on the Windows Mobile 5.0 operating system and comes with a generous 3.7″ touchscreen display for easy navigation, while a slide-out QWERTY keyboard makes typing e-mails and messages a cinch. The WS003SH is powered by a 416MHz Xscale processor, featuring 64MB RAM, WiFi and miniUSB connectivity, a 1.3 megapixel camera, and a miniSD card slot. The 128MB of integrated memory will definitely be insufficient, and its large size just makes us wonder where we can store this during our travels.
