Pantech releases 5 new phones in Mexico

Pantech will enter the Mexican market via Telcel by introducing five new handsets. The PG-6200, PG-1310V, PG-1610, PG-3810, and PG-1810 cellphones are hoped to expand Pantech’s market share and improve on their 4th rank in Mexico. The PG-6200 offers fingerprint recognition, a 2 megapixel camera with video recording capability, and MP3 playback. The clamshell PG-1310V is a software-oriented cellphone for business types, while the slider PG-1610 and clamshell PG-1810 have entry level features such as a VGA camera, with the latter possessing a better quality and larger display. Last but not least, the PG-3810 is a clamhsell handset that features dual displays, a VGA camera, and polyphonic ringtones. Pricing details for all five cellphones are currently unavailable.
