Motorola Q Pro in the works

The Motorola Q was great in concept, but it clearly fell behind rivals in real world application. Motorola hopes to make amends and stem the onslaught from various QWERTY-based smartphones such as the recently released T-Mobile Dash by releasing the Motorola Q Pro sometime in Q1 next year. The Q Pro will ship with yet undisclosed updated hardware in a sleek, black exterior and will feature Motorola’s very own MOTOPRO Mobility Suite. This back-end software empowers users with remote device and application management, including disabling the digital camera. Several noteworthy upgrades include a firewall, e-mail encryption, VPN-support and intrusion detection.
