Motorola ic502 phone coming soon

When Sprint and Nextel officially announced their partnership, they left many wondering when will a hybrid cellphone be released which can be used on either network. All that waiting is finally over as the Motorola ic502 dual-mode clamshell cellphone is currently on track for a November 5th release in selected markets. There is no word on which geographical location will receive the Motorola ic502, but word on the street is residents in Tampa, Orlando, New York, Boston, Orange County, and Long Island will be the beneficiaries. As with most rumors, treat the latter information with a grain of salt. At the very least, we know that the ic502 will use CDMA for standard calls and iDEN for PTT.
