Verizon to launch 3 new smartphones
From the Verizon Wireless timeline on the right, we can tell that there will be a trio of devices powered by the Windows Mobile 5.0 Operating System that will be launched by the end of this year. First in line is the Pantech 820 which boasts a 1.3 megapixel camera, a miniSD card slot, and Bluetooth connectivity in a clamshell design. It was originally slated for a September 4 release, but that date has been pushed back to September 29. The remaining two handsets are the Libra and Titan which will be manufactured by UTStarcom. These two smartphones support push e-mail with AKU2, with the Libra and Titan looking at a November 15 and December 15 launch date respectively.
