Toshiba TS608 ranks high on slim list

The super slim Toshiba TS608 cellphone will be released in key European markets, and this handset hopes to make a big impact with a thickness that measures just 9.9mm. The TS608 takes after a candybar design and is light as a feather, weighing a mere 81g. It is interesting to note that Toshiba engineers have manage to squeeze in a 1.3 megapixel camera and Bluetooth connectivity into such a small package. Other features include built-in 8MB memory, a microSD memory card slot, a 176 x 220 pixel TFT display, e-mail support, and 40-polyphonic ring tones. Pity there is no MP3 playback capability which is a staple in cellphones these days.
