Samsung SCH-V920 targets globetrotters
Samsung and SK Telecom has released the Samsung SCH-V920 World Phone that supports CDMA, GSM, and JCDMA simultaneously. This enables the user to use roamnig with this device across the entire globe, from Tokyo to Paris to New York and back without a hitch. Even staple services like text messaging and caller ID which previously were not available in GSM-controlled Europe is now available for $0.50 per SMS. Since this is a world-friendly phone, it is able to speak some simple expressions in Japanese, Chinese, and English to help you get your way around a foreign land. Features include a 1.3 megapixel camera, Bluetooth connectivity, and a built-in MP3 player. The Samsung SCH-V920 is looking good at the $520 price point.
