Pantech drops trio of cellphones down south

Here’s some cellphone news which will affect our neighbors located in South America. Pantech decides to strengthen their market position from being number 6 in Argentina by introducing a trio of new cellphones with the objective to capture 10% of the market. The PG-3810, PG-1310V, and the PG-1610 will be available from mobile carrier CTI Movil. The PG-3810 is an entry-level handset which comes with a VGA camera, MP3 ringtones, and IrDA file transfer. The PG-1310V ships with an improved display and has a Voice Scheduler. The slider PG-1610 is king among the three with MP3 ringtones, a speakerphone, and a digital camera.
