Jitterbug makes calling easy

Most cellphones these days are not only used to hold conversations with your family and friends – these new devices often come with a gamut of functions including a Web browser, video and audio playback support, GPS navigation capability, a decent camera and more. Unfortunately, there are certain quarters of people such as the older generation who prefer a cellphone to do just one thing – make and receive calls along with the occasional text message. The Jitterbug does just that, offering one of the simplest user interfaces you can find with just three large buttons. The first button will engage the Operator function which connects you to a Jitterbug operator who is available 24/7. The second button will dial your most frequently dialled number, while the last button is used for emergencies. The Jitterbug is available in a variety of plans, and $100 will net you a cellphone, a car charger, and 100 free minutes. Judging by the picture, Samsung will manufacture the Jitterbug handset.
