IFA 2006 sees two new LG phones
The IFA 2006 event in Berlin, Germany, played host to a host of new cellphone releases, and among them are the U830 and KG328 from LG. The former is a clamshell handset that looks like it is part of the Chocolate family, featuring an all-black glossy body which screams of fingerprint magnet, a 2 megapixel camera, music and video playback capabilities, and a whooping 200MB internal memory. The candybar KG328 on the other hand, is a super slim cellphone that measures just 9.9mm thin in a similar all-black design as well. It supports MP3 playback, but the built-in memory is much less at just 128MB. Judging from the picture, the KG328 will not come with a camera although the final list of specifications for both handsets have yet to be revealed. There is no word on pricing and availability, so keep your eyes peeled. I have a strange feeling that the U830 is also known as the LG MG810.
