Samsung will be introducing the new SGH-P900D dual-band cellphone that supports DMB-based mobile TV at forthcoming trade show. This new handset will be able to receive the 8 radio programs that are currently being broadcasted over the L-band. As of press time, the DMB standard enables mobile TV consumers to receive up to 4 channels across half a dozen German cities comprising Berlin, Cologne, Munich, Stuttgart, Frankfurt, and Nuremberg. The Samsung SGH-P900D is equipped with stereo speakers, a landscape viewing format, a digital sound amplifier, a TV-out port, and various multimedia functions that are guaranteed to be a hit when released.
