Samsung i310 receives FCC approval

The almighty FCC has given the nod for the new Samsung i310 music-centered cellphone that will replace the outgoing i300. This tri-band (900/1800/1900MHz) GSM/EDGE cellphone will offer more than a 250% increase in storage space from its predecessor, weighing in with 8GB of storage real estate. The original 1.3 megapixel camera has been bumped up to a 2 megapixel camera for sharper images. Other features include a 2″ QVGA 65k color display, a microSD memory card slot, Bluetooth with A2DP-enabled connectivity, stereo speakers, and a USB 2.0 connection. There is no word on pricing or availability details.
